A hands-on workshop for designers who want to ship UI changes without waiting on engineering. Run real projects locally, prompt AI in Cursor to edit code, and push your changes to GitHub. By the end, you'll fix small UI issues yourself, prototype faster, and cut back-and-forth with the FE team.

What you'll be able to do
- Run a local project end-to-end
- Understand basic frontend + backend structure
- Use AI in Cursor to build and edit UI
- Fix small UI issues without engineering help

Workshop breakdown
1. Mindset + What's Possible (20 min)
- What designers can do with AI in code
- Live demo: fix UI using Cursor
2. Dev Basics (25 min)
- Repo, frontend, file structure (HTML/CSS)
- Intro to GitHub + Cursor
3. Setup Environment (30 min)
- Open repo, run localhost
- Make your first UI change
4. Hands-on: Fix UI in Cursor with AI (75 min)
- Fix spacing, alignment, layout, UI states, interactions
- Prompt AI to edit code
- Commit + push to GitHub
5. Boundaries + Real Use (20 min)
- What's realistic vs. not
- How designers work with engineers — not replace them
6. Resources + Q&A (10 min)
- Free resources (prompts, plugins, cheatsheet)
- Open Q&A
