Brand Product Designer
KITA
FreelanceHi, I'm Matthew, founder of KITA (kitastrategy.com). We're an HR Tech startup building a desktop platform that makes strategic planning faster, easier, and a lot less painful for managers (basically to not be a process that “sucks”). The product is in development but honestly, it doesn't look or feel like us yet. It's a bit boxy, a bit boring, very "AI-looking or Microsoft-looking.” Our brand is meant to be the opposite of that: colourful, lively, uplifting. Professional, sure—but human with a bit of a wry sense of humour. That's where you come in. We're looking for a Brand Product Designer for a 2-3 week project (with potential to extend) who can help us bridge brand and interface. This isn’t a full rebuild—the foundations are there. We have a logo we like, a brand voice we've nailed down, and Figma components already in play. We just need someone to bring it all to life and give the whole package that KITA vibe. What you'd actually do: • Refresh our website and platform interface so they feel genuinely like us • Improve and expand our existing Figma components • Help us bring "hand-holding the user" to the forefront • Polish our brand templates for early sales conversations (decks, case studies, etc.) • Hand off clean, implementation-ready designs to our CTO Who we think you are: • You've designed B2B SaaS products before—not just landing pages • You can show us work where you made something boring feel actually engaging • You balance art and professionalism well • You're responsive, collaborative, and good with deadlines • You communicate well in English (we're going regional) • Bonus if you've worked in HR, ops, or anything where personality has to coexist with trust If you're interested, send us: 1. Your portfolio (especially B2B/SaaS work with personality) 2. A short note on how you'd approach our specific challenge 3. Why we'd be lucky to work with you
